Definition: significant pitting present day & night, reduced with treatment within 2-3 weeks with CDT
- Day Compression:
- Compression choice:
Class 2- (23-32 mmHg) flat knit / seamed (made to measure)
- Indicated due to the volume of limb swelling and reduced fibrosis in the skin

- Indicated for a low stretch & high-containing garment to break down fibrosis, high BMI & ADL’s

- Night Compression:
- Mandatory:
- Optimize treatment outcomes by using a night compression garment.

- Indicated when firmer fibrosis is slow to change

- Tips:

- The day garment should fit snugly and maintain a decongestive size; if it doesn't, choose a material that contains more.
- Apply compression to one joint below the visible swelling; for example, use a glove if the wrist is swelling.
- Use a gauntlet for preventive purposes (when swelling does not extend to the wrist).
- Flat knit: choose comfort patch, elbow dart & slant top with silicone border
- Reduction options:
