Definition: Minimal soft pitting progressing during the day, easily reduced with treatment within 1 week with compliance

- Indicated for “heaviness” of limb
- (18-21mmHg) Flat Knit / seamed (made to measure)
- Indicated for “loose” skin

No swelling present, day treatment maintains which prevents progression of the disease

Tips:

- The day garment should fit snugly and maintain a decongestive size; if it doesn't, choose a material that contains more.
- Apply compression to one joint below the visible swelling; for example, if the wrist is swelling, use a glove.
- Use a gauntlet for preventive purposes (when swelling does not extend to the wrist).
- Flat knit: choose elbow dart & slant top with silicone border
- Compression garments can be used for long flights or prolonged periods of standing
