Definition: No swelling evident, prophylactic only, has a higher risk of lymphedema incidence

No swelling present, day treatment maintains which prevents progression of the disease - Tips:

- The day garment should fit snugly and maintain a decongestive size; if it doesn't, choose a material that contains more.
- Apply compression to one joint below the visible swelling; for example, if the wrist is swelling, use a glove.
- Use a gauntlet for preventive purposes (when swelling does not extend to the wrist)
- Compression garments can be used for long flights or prolonged periods of standing
